Welcome to the Prayer Furnace
Prayer is a crucial part of what it means to be Christian, both in the private place and with other Christians.
Prayer is spiritual communication between man and God, a two-way relationship in which man should not only talk to God but also listen to Him, seeking God’s face by interceding, standing in the gap for others, here at #CST we are ready to pray for you as we all stand together in the power of His word.
Engaging with spiritual authority through the word of God as we align our hearts by praying with God's purpose and promises over our lives.
Prayer is where we bring our petitions and requests, with thanksgiving to a mighty God; we can come boldly to a throne of grace.
Whatever your need, prayer is the answer. Send your prayer request and we'll be praying for you.
There are many promises in God’s Word to encourage us to pray, such as: “He shall call upon me and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him” Psalm 91:15
Spiritual Warfare
Jesus is our ultimate example of resisting temptation in spiritual warfare. Observe how Jesus handled direct attacks from Satan when He was tempted in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1–11).
Each temptation was combatted with the words “it is written.” The Word of the living God is the most powerful weapon against the temptations of the devil. “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you” (Psalm 119:11).
In summary, what are the keys to success in spiritual warfare? We rely on God’s power, not our own. We put on the whole armour of God. We draw on the power of Scripture—the Word of God is the Spirit’s sword. We pray in perseverance and holiness, making our appeal to God. We stand firm (Ephesians 6:13–14); we submit to God; we resist the devil’s work (James 4:7), knowing that the Lord of hosts is our protector. “Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken” (Psalm 62:2).
